Brit spy at centre of Trump ‘dirty dossier’ rumpus was taught secrets of Putin’s sex tape stings by Russian defector murdered by radioactive tea
THE Brit spy alleged to have written the Trump ‘dirty dossier’ learned the secrets behind Putin’s infamous sex tape stings from assassinated spy Alexander Litvinenko.
The Sun has learned that former spook Christopher Steele was briefed on the Kremlin’s use of hidden cameras during his ‘several’ meetings with the Russian defector.
Steele reportedly wrote the widely discredited document which contained lurid allegations against President-elect Trump.
The bogus claims were given credence by the US intelligence agencies because of Russia’s long history of using ‘compromising’ footage from illicit 'honey traps' against its enemies.
Source say Litvinenko told Steele about the dark arts of Russian espionage before he was killed by radioactive tea at a Mayfair hotel in 2006.

On his deathbed, Litvinenko revealed details about a sex tape scandal involving Prosecutor-General Yuri Skuratov.
In 1999, when Litvinenko worked for the Kremlin’s Federal Security Service (FSB), which is the successor to the KGB, Skuratov was investigating then President Boris Yeltsin over corruption charges.
Skuratov was subsequently shamed in an operation reportedly masterminded by then FSB chief Vladimir Putin.
The Prosecutor-General was allegedly filmed in a hotel room having sex with two prostitutes.
Putin himself unveiled the footage at a televised press conference broadcast on Russian state TV.
Litvinenko claimed Putin had personally blackmailed Skuratov with the tape and asked him to resign.
Another infamous sex sting scandal involved Putin’s bitter rival former Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov.
Married Kasyanov, 58, was tipped as one of the few opposition leaders capable of toppling Putin.
Last year a grainy 40-minute video emerged of him and a female anti-Kremlin playwright which was shown on Russian state TV.
The footage showed Kasyanov, who fell out with Putin after serving as PM, in a steamy bedroom clinch with the 39-year-old Moscow-born activist who was raised in England.
