Dramatic moment cops nab perv who planned to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex at a McDonald’s drive-thru before he was confronted by The Hunted One vigilantes
DRAMATIC footage shows cops arresting a vile paedophile who planned to meet a 14-year-old boy for sex at a McDonald's drive-thru.
Would-be child abuser Neil Prior had been snared by vigilante paedo hunters "The Hunted One" before officers closed in.
The 35-year-old, who has been locked up for a year, was cornered by the vigilantes outside a McDonald's drive-thru in Maidstone, Kent.
He had used a dating app to arrange sex with what he believed to be a 14-year-old boy, and in one message claimed he could "teach the boy things he could only dream of".
Chat logs show he was fully aware of the apparent child's age and used sexual language while arranging the intended meeting.
The paedophile initially lied to the vigilantes and said he had no idea who fictional schoolboy "Sam" was.
He was arrested by cops and later admitted he was there to meet who he thought was a boy he had been grooming for two months.
He had tried to arrange meet-ups on ten previous occasions.
Prior told police: "I had no intention of ever sleeping with him.
"I said we would go as far as he wanted to but it would never have gone that far."
When asked if he would have engaged in oral sex he said "maybe".
He went on to say he "just wanted to be a friend" to the boy and had "never slept with any kids".
In footage filmed by The Hunted One on November 11 the cameraman told Prior what he wanted to do was classed as rape.
Prior was later arrested and charged with arranging a meeting which could involve the commission of a sexual offence.
He was jailed and handed a ten-year sexual harm prevention order on December 12.
He will spend a decade on the sex offenders register.
Earlier this week a paedo was snared by vigilantes after he arranged to meet what he thought was a 14-year-old boy through dating app Grindr.
Last month vigilante group Dark Justice confronted paedophile Stephen Bateman who planned to meet a 13-year-old girl.
