Who is Sarah Bryan? Designer who was reduced to tears by Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan over her daughter’s scuffed shoes and rumoured Big Brother star
The mum has been plagued by trolls since speaking out on the morning show
SARAH Bryan is famous for invoicing another mum for £325 after her daughter returned from a play date with scuffed shoes.
The debacle attracted media attention and erupted into an explosive discussion on Good Morning Britain – The Sun can exclusively reveal that Sarah has now been approached to appear on Big Brother.
Who is Sarah Bryan?
Sarah Bryan is a designer whose controversial work includes making a bra and skirt out of other people’s pubic hair, and a dress entirely out of skittles.
Also listing her occupations as actress, blogger and public figure, she is a mum to three-year-old Isabella and 13-year-old Keegan.
The 28-year-old, who has previously appeared on Channel 5’s Tattoo Disasters, has also launched a cosmetics line.
The single mum, from Wakefield, West Yorks, has previously said she was abused as a child, with recent online taunts and the argument with Piers Morgan bringing up painful memories.
On , she has also said she experienced foster homes, teenage pregnancy and homelessness and wanted to use her experiences to make a difference in the world.
What is the Skittles dress and why did she make an outfit from pubic hair?
In 2014, the designer mum created a dress made from 3,000 Skittles.
She used 145 bags of sweets and even created matching shoes, with the eye-catching dress being put on display at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum in Amsterdam.
As a follow-up she went on to design and produce a bra and matching skirt made from real human pubic hair, mostly donated by Twitter users, having apparently been inspired by Lady Gaga’s infamous meat dress.
The bizarre ensemble took her months to create and meant she had to wear a mask and gloves to stop her gagging.
She has since fashioned another dress completely out of hundreds and thousands.
The mum has also hinted at another “top secret project”, saying it was “bigger than any other”.
What happened with her daughter’s £325 shoes?
Sarah made headlines after she invoiced a friend when her daughter’s £325 red leather boots were marked with pen during a playdate.
According to Sarah’s note to her friend the shoes in question were made from Italian red leather and cost £325 to replace.
The mum-of-two, who says three-year-old Isabella only wears designer labels, revealed her daughter has 60 pairs of shoes.
Why did Sarah Bryan and Piers Morgan argue on Good Morning Britain?
The mum appeared on Good Morning Britain to discuss her decision to bill the other mum for the scuffed shoes, with presenter Piers Morgan blasting her and saying she was not a “responsible” parent.
But the heated argument quickly descended into a full blown clash, with Sarah hitting back at Piers’s criticisms of her parenting.
Sarah later revealed she suffered a panic attack after the show because she was so riled up by Piers’s comments, branding him a “vicious bully”.
Despite Susanna Reid’s attempts to diffuse the situation, the divisive host refused to apologise.
What has happened since?
Since Sarah Bryan’s controversial appearance on the morning show, she has continued to make headlines.
The mum tweeted a photograph of herself dressed as a schoolgirl carrying a football, with the caption: “Guess who I am. clue I am 15 and my sugar daddy is in jail. sorry @staceyflounders #adamjohnson.”
Abused online for the schoolgirl costume, the mum hit back, claiming she didn’t know who Adam Johnson was and that the photo had been posted online by a friend.
She was recently left terrified when she was doused with hot liquid while in a photoshoot in a Wakefield park.
