THIS is the shocking moment a prisoner launched a brutal sucker punch barrage on a fellow inmate during a court hearing last week.
Dustin Langham, 18, was sitting next to several other inmates inside Clark County District Court Judge Bita Yeager’s courtroom in Las Vegas when he suddenly sprung upon Berdon Bridge on February 1.
Langham had just pleaded guilty to biting a correction officer's hand and throwing a brick at another last year when he unleashed the forceful attack on Bridge.
Footage of the incident, which was captured by courtroom cameras and later obtained by , shows correction officers intervening and separating the two inmates.
Langham was then immediately arrested, before officers removed all the other inmates from the courtroom, the outlet reports.
Records show he already had a history of engaging in assault incidents, having been sentenced to probation in September 2023 on several counts of battery by a prisoner.
Prior to that, Langham was also charged with and later pleaded guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm in 2022, according to court documents reviewed by the .
As for Bridge, he had pleaded guilty to one count of felony attempted ownership or possession of a firearm by a prohibited person before he was attacked.
As part of his plea deal, he was sentenced to one to four years in prison, 8NewsNow report.
Langham's violent attack came just a month after a three-time felon launched himself at a judge during sentencing in the same court.
Video captured the moment domestic assault convict Deobra Redden, 30, vaulted over the bench to attack Judge Mary Kay Holthus in the Las Vegas, Nevada court January 3.
He said "nah f*** that b**ch" as he launched himself at her after she rejected his pleas for more probation.
Following the attack, Redden was sentenced by the same judge to up to four years in prison.
This time, however, he stood in court accompanied by a group of jail officers and was forced to wear shackles, a mask on his face and orange mitts on his hands.
More recently, Glenn Cromwell Jr. was arrested and charged with battery after he lunged at Yousuf Azami, 59, who was charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teenager in the same building.
Video from the January 23 incident shows Azami confronting Cromwell outside the courtroom and exchanging words before punching him in the face.
