Paedo footballer Adam Johnson’s sister posts birthday message to his young daughter as she hints at jail visit
THE daughter of disgraced former footballer Adam Johnson has turned two - with her aunt posting an emotional message to the little toddler promising the tot that her daddy "will see you soon!"
Faye Johnson shared photographs of little Ayla as part of the sentimental birthday message including one of the little girl as a newborn being fed by her father in hospital.
The collage of pictures also included the little girl dressed as a Disney princess and clutching a card during her first birthday celebrations.
Faye Johnson, who has stayed loyal to her brother throughout his jail term, wrote: "Happy 2nd birthday to my gorgeous niece!
"Daddy loves you all the world and he will see you soon!"
Johnson was jailed for six years last year for engaging in sexual activity with a besotted 15-year-old fan.
As part of his sentence, he was banned from seeing his daughter but the restriction was last year lifted, allowing young Ayla to visit her dad for the first time in jail.
Johnson has long been supported by his sister Faye, who has tried to campaign against his conviction.

The young woman has constantly shared an appeal page for her brother, as well as memories of his successful football career.
The 28-year-old, who had tried to have his conviction overturned after being sentenced in May last year, was found guilty of one count of sexual activity with a 15-year-old fan and previously admitted another count.
Since his prison sentence, he has also rekindled his love with the mother of his child, with Johnson and Stacey Flounders earlier reported to have reunited.
A photograph of Johnson recently showed he had lost a significant amount of weight during his time in jail.
He was also forced to slash the price of his five-bed mansion by £150,000 with all traces of Johnson removed from the plush pad.
At the time of his arrest, Johnson was earning £60,000 a week playing for Sunderland.
