A RAPIST targeted women after browsing rape porn, a court heard.
David Gregory, 46, trawled the dark web before cruising the streets with a “rape kit” including handcuffs, sedatives and cable ties in his car.
The panel beater then ambushed a 32-year-old student at knifepoint as she walked home at 5am on June 4 in Manchester.
He forced her into his Audi but she managed to flee as he tried to handcuff her.
She said she thought he would kill her.
Gregory, of Hyde, Gtr Manchester, admitted kidnap and was jailed for at least nine years at Manchester crown court.
Judge Tony Cross QC said the victim “could have been seriously hurt, if not killed”.
Gregory was jailed 12 years ago for raping a girl of 16.
