Urgent manhunt launched after woman in her 20s ‘raped in an alleyway’ in Stratford as cops share CCTV image
AN URGENT manhunt has been launched after a woman in her 20s was allegedly raped in a Stratford alleyway.
The Met Police released CCTV images of a man seen nearby after the woman reported an attack in Medals Way.
The alleged attack was reported at 6.30pm on Thursday and the man was described as tall, slim, and in his 20s.
A CCTV image of the man police want to find shows him in a black tracksuit and a beige cap with a hoodie pulled up over his head.
He also has black facial hair and a satchel.
The woman is being supported by specially trained officers, according to cops.

Detective Constable Ben Dailey said: "We have carried out a number of enquiries, including recovering CCTV from around the area.
"As a result of this, we are releasing two images of a man we would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises him to come forward immediately."
