A MID-AIR drama happened onboard a Ryanair flight flying from Lisbon to Manchester this afternoon after a passenger fell ill.

A Ryanair spokesman said: “During this flight from Lisbon to Manchester a customer became ill onboard.
"The crew called ahead to request medical assistance, the aircraft landed normally and the customer was met by medics for further treatment upon arrival.”
