Disgusting McDonald’s milkshake served to customer who was told by staff ‘it looks how our food tastes’ when he complained
He claims bosses shrugged off the revolting sight before handing him a £10 voucher
A DISGUSTED McDonald's customer who was served up THIS revolting looking milkshake claims he was told "it looks how our food tastes" when he complained to staff.
The man from Sheffield, who wishes to remain anonymous, says his stomach turned when he peered inside the vanilla-flavoured drink this week.
Instead of finding a light froth on the whipped iced dairy drink, the shake looked more like a congealed mess with discoloured swirls.
But rather than being handed a sincere apology, the customer claims bosses shrugged off the revolting sight when he refused to drink the £1.69 shake.
He was later offered a £10 voucher to spend in the Meadowhall Retail Park store.
Grossest McDonald's milkshake I've ever had.
McDonald's customer
The man told The Sun Online: "Grossest McDonald's milkshake I've ever had and all the guy behind the counter said was it looks how our food tastes.
"He did give me another one though and I got £10 of vouchers for free."
McDonald's bosses now say there was nothing wrong with the milkshake - other than it hadn't defrosted yet.
A spokesman said: “We apologise this customer was served a frozen milkshake in this instance.
"The customer was offered a £10 voucher which has been accepted.”
