Government must step in and stop schools being cancelled by bogus Islamophobia accusations

The Left loathes schools which are super-strict and offends their “progressive” values

WHEN will the Government step in to stop outstanding schools being brought to their knees by bogus Islamophobia accusations?

The Michaela Community School is a staggering success, achieving incredible results in a poor area of North London.

One Muslim pupil now objects to its blanket ban on segregated prayer rituals and is suing in the High Court, backed by the usual human rights legal lefties.

But that ban is specifically to combat discrimination, so kids of all creeds and none are treated equally.

And it achieves exactly the cohesion it was meant to.

The Left loathes this school.

It is super-strict, offends their “progressive” values and is wildly successful.

Now they have a stick to beat it with.

An excellent East London primary, meanwhile, is being threatened with violence by thugs claiming anti-Muslim prejudice after the head banned pro-Palestine badges.

Both schools have impeccable records for inclusion — but also promote British values, just as our schools should.

This Government must do more to protect them from mobs . . . and troublemakers with pricey lawyers.

Noel’s nailed it

NOEL Gallagher’s superstardom and his entertaining bluntness have made him a national treasure. Unlike Sadiq Khan.

When the rocker piles into London’s failing Labour Mayor he speaks for millions.

Khan has only ever been interested in self-promotion, imposing bans and taxes and whining about Tories.

When poor Harry Pitman, 16, became the city’s latest knife victim, Khan bizarrely accused tech firms of making mobiles too tempting for thieves.

It was a shameful attempt at buck-passing, and not lost on Noel.

Under Khan’s corrosive rule the capital has become harder and harder to live in and more and more dangerous.

How dare she?

THERE is a rancid stench around ex-SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon and her deputy deleting every single Covid-era WhatsApp message.

This despite her piety about how vital it was for lessons to be learned at a public inquiry.

She knew every message might be valuable — but deleted the lot. Why?

The usual suspects spent weeks ranting over Boris Johnson losing a few months of WhatsApps after changing his phone, though they had many more to feast on.

Where is the outrage about Sturgeon?

Incredibly, SNP cranks now claim deleting WhatsApps is fine.

Sturgeon ran Scotland during Covid, using it to bolster her party and drive wedges between it and Westminster.

What she said in private messages may have been a matter of life and death.

She has treated the inquiry with utter contempt and must not get away with it.
