A SET of Winston Churchill’s false teeth is up for sale — and could fetch £8,000.
The upper dentures are one of several sets created for the wartime Prime Minister and were designed to preserve his natural lisp.
Churchill’s words were heard by millions of Britons during World War Two radio broadcasts, rallying the nation in the fight against Nazi Germany.
One of his most famous speeches was the 1940 We Shall Fight on the Beaches address to the House of Commons.
In it, he had to explain how Britain faced invasion but could ultimately win the war.
Just weeks later, he hailed the Battle of Britain heroes, who, thanks to his speech, became know as The Few.

Churchill suffered dental problems most of his life and lost several teeth in his 20s.
This partial upper gold-mounted set was one of around four designed by the Prime Minister’s dentist Sir Wilfred Fish and made by technician Derek Cudlipp.
They were so important to Churchill he had two pairs with him at all times.
The Cotswold Auction Company, of Cheltenham, Gloucs, is offering them for sale on February 6.
