Mystery surrounds disappearance of woman, 33, who ‘may have black eye’ after she was last seen at seaside hotel with man
MYSTERY is growing over the disappearance of a woman who "may have a black eye" after she vanished from a seaside hotel with a man.
Cherie Rowe was last seen at the hotel in the South Bay area of Scarborough at around 5.45pm on January 11.
Police have now launched an urgent search for the 33-year-old, who is originally from Middlesbrough.
They said Cherie may have a black eye and is believed to be "in the company of a man".
She has been described as white with long dark hair that could be tied up in a bun.
Cherie is thought to be wearing a dark blue coat and navy jeans.

The missing woman's family have also appealed for information on social media.
Her mum said: "I am looking for my daughter, her name is Cherie Rowe and she went missing last week.
"She was last seen getting on a bus, the number 93 from Middlesbrough to Scarborough.
"If anyone has seen her please get in touch with the police, thank you."
