A BIRD lover has opened an all-inclusive hotel for hens — featuring a cocktail bar where the lucky cluckers go crazy to Beyoncé tunes.
Katriona Shovlin, 31, charges a paltry £3 a night for poultry to live it up in her luxury “hennels”.
She aims to cash in on more people keeping the birds as pets since Covid lockdowns and the supermarket egg shortage.
The service, in her garden in Upchurch, Kent, has been fully booked since its autumn launch.
Katriona said: “I installed a neon sign and ‘cosmopolitan cocktails’ one in the bar which is open all hours. We usually play classical music to relax them.
“When I played Beyoncé, they turned into right divas and were pecking away at my legs.

“It just sent them wild. I don’t know what came over them.
“They love the disco ball as they can see the sun reflecting on the floor and enjoy looking at themselves. They’re quite vain animals, really.”
Besides partying, guests at Hen Weekend Chicken Boarding can peck at a superfood buffet, jump in a tyre, and play on a swing and in a wendy house.
A boat paddling pool caters for ducks. Cocks are banned.
