A BRITAIN’S Got Talent star has shared a desperate appeal after his cousin vanished seven days ago.
Magician James Samuel is begging the public to come forward with information after Kim Wilde, 65, went missing from her home in Kimms Belt, Thetford.
Police are now focusing their searches on the nearby river Thet.
James made it to the final of BGT in 2019 as part of magic group 4MG.
He made a desperate appeal on Facebook this week after his cousin’s disappearance.
He wrote: “My cousin Kim Wilde, 65, is currently missing.
“She was last seen leaving her house in Thetford Kimms Belt carrying a white handbag at 4.20pm on Friday.
“Any information please contact the police, message me on Facebook or call any of the family.”
He also shared the last CCTV of Kim – which shows her walking past Wong’s Taste of China at 4.30pm on Friday, January 5.
James added: “Sharing in case anyone spotted her or may know where she went.
“Anyone else on the Thetford high street please check cameras for this time. I would appreciate it so much.”
Inspector Howard Elvidge from Norfolk Constabulary said: “We have carried out a number of enquiries to find Kim, including tracing her movements on CCTV in the town centre and are treating this as a missing person investigation.
“Kim is last seen in the area of the river which is why our searches today are focused on the River Thet.”
Kim Wilde is described as 5ft 3in tall, white, of “proportionate” build, with dark brown, short hair.
Police say she was possibly wearing a grey jacket with a hood on, dark grey leggings and carrying a white handbag when she left.
Kim walks very slowly and can appear frail.
Anyone with information or who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact Norfolk Police immediately on 101, quoting incident number 348 of January 6.
