Cops investigating serious sexual assault involving teenage girl

COPS are investigating a serious sexual assault on a teenager in Glasgow.

A 19-year-old woman was attacked at about 3am on Tuesday, police have said.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Police are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault on a 19-year-old woman in Renfrew Street, Charing Cross which occurred at about 03:00 hours on Tuesday January 3, 2017.

"Enquiries are at an early stage to establish circumstances.";
