Prince Harry says saving endangered elephants is ‘God’s test’ for humanity in heartfelt interview with US mag

Royal, 32, who is currently dating Meghan Markle, says if we fail to protect animals, humanity could be extinct too

PRINCE Harry has declared that saving endangered wildlife is “God’s test” for humanity.

The royal, 32, fears that if we fail to stop animals like elephants becoming extinct mankind could go the same way.

He told US mag Town & Country: “We need to look after them because otherwise our children will not have a chance to see what we have seen.

“This is God’s test: if we can’t save some animals in a wilderness area, what else can’t we do.”

The prince told of his love for Africa, where he joined conservationists safeguarding Malawi’s elephants. A bonus about visiting the continent is “to not get recognised”.

The prince is currently dating US actress Meghan Markle.
