Baby boy dies in tower block 12 days after birth on Christmas Day as cops arrest man and woman
A MAN and a woman have been arrested after a 12-day-old baby boy died at an inner-city tower block.
The infant was tragically found dead over the weekend at Millbrook Towers, a high rise block of flats in Southampton, Hampshire.
The baby boy was born on Christmas Day.
Police today revealed man, 24, and a 33-year-old woman have been arrested over the tragedy.
The pair have been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a child and neglect.
They have been bailed until April.

Neighbours have now told of their shock, after watching emergency services swarm the tower on Saturday morning.
Luke Childs, 30, said: "I am speechless and I don’t really know what to say.
"That is something that happened in this block and to think it happened so close to us is quite unbelievable."
One woman, who asked not to be named, said the news made her "feel sick".

She said the baby's death had rocked the whole community.
Hampshire Constabulary said: "We received a report at 8.29am on Saturday 6 January of the sudden death of a 12-day-old baby at an address on Windermere Avenue in Southampton.
"The baby was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased.
"Enquiries remain ongoing to ascertain the exact circumstances of what happened, and as part of this investigation two people have been arrested.
"A 33-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both from Southampton, have been arrested on suspicion of causing/allowing the death of a child and neglect.
"They have been bailed while our enquiries continue."
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said they were rushed to the block on Saturday morning.
They said the critical care team and a specialist paramedic tried to save the boy.
He was transferred to hospital on the road, but tragically died.
