Zuck was born into a Jewish family, but began "questioning" his faith as he grew older.

But when one of the tech mogul's fans asked if he was an atheist, he responded:  "No. I was raised Jewish and then I went through a period where I questioned things, but now I believe religion is very important."

It is unclear which religion the tech mogul has decided to join.

Zuckerberg tends to avoid discussing religion overtly and tends to keep his opinions under wraps.

But has previously expressed an interest in Buddhism after sharing an image which showed him "offering a prayer for peace and health for the world and for my family", which includes wife Priscilla and baby Max.

He wrote: "Priscilla is Buddhist and asked me to offer a prayer from her as well.

"Buddhism is an amazing religion and philosophy, and I have been learning more about it over time. I hope to continue understanding the faith more deeply."
