Shocking moment crocodile breaks keeper’s arm in two after biting him and performing a death roll while being teased during show
Enormous reptile tosses trainer around like a rag doll in front of horrified crowd
A CROCODILE trainer’s arm was snapped in HALF after the powerful reptile clamped it in its jaws and performed a “death roll”.
Sumet Thongkhammuan was tossed about like a rag doll by the animal at the “Show of Crocodiles’ in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand on New Year’s Eve.
Unsettling footage shows the trainer’s mangled arm after the croc has let go.
Thongkhammuan had been whacking the reptile on the head with a stick before reaching his arm into its mouth.
The crocodile then slammed its jaws shut and performed a death roll as if it was trying to drown prey in the wild.
Duangruedi Di Satefano, who recorded the attack on her phone, said: ”It was very scary.
“The man’s hand was broken in half.
“He was very lucky to still be alive.”
Thongkhammuan’s lucky escape marks the third crocodile attack captured on film in Thailand in under a week.
Last week a trainer was attacked by one the reptiles at the Phuket Crocodile Farm in Phuket.
A French female tourist was attacked while posing for a selfie with a crocodile in Khao Yai.
