It’s one thing spotting the sleeping leopard – but you need a high IQ to find the hidden monkey in the zoo in 6 seconds

IF you think you have perfect 20/20 vision and a high IQ try and spot the hidden monkey hiding in this image before the zoo closes for the night.

This viral brainteaser has left people scratching their heads trying to spot the perfectly camouflaged chimp sneakily camouflaged somewhere inside the giraffe enclosure in under six seconds.

If you can see the cheeky monkey in a super quick time then you have the watchful eyes of a hawk but beware he is very good at hide and seek.

The mind-boggling artwork shows a bunch of tall giraffes packed into a beautiful zoo, surrounded by luscious green grass and a lovely cold swimming pool.

Kids and their parents watch on in awe as the giant, long-necked animals reach up high and look for some food off the playful children.

The enclosure might look pretty normal at first glance but once you find out there's a monkey somewhere in amongst the giraffes your eyes start to open up as the hunt begins.

A person with great vision should be able to quickly track down the charming chimp and catch him before it’s too late and he's taken over the zoo like a pint-sized King Kong.

But not to panic as this monkey is less like the giant gorilla and more of a Curious George.

But for a brainteaser that seems so easy the excellent hiding skills of the sneaky monkey has left many baffled and calling the puzzle impossible.

The mammal cheekily blends in within the picture as it's in a peculiar position within the image that you would never expect a monkey to be.

If you can solve this challenging optical illusion, you could make a brilliant zoo keeper with your clever problem-solving brain.

In an initial glance at the photo there is no chance a monkey is living in harmony with the giraffes without anyone noticing him and it being glaringly obvious but the deeper you search the quicker he appears.

The pesky guy is hidden deep within the photo but with his expert hiding skills you’re bound to run out of time as the monkey gets to entertain the giraffes all night long.

You're sure to waste your time staring at the trees in the back that are filled with various other animals and assume it's just blending in with them.

But this makes it so hard to find the monkey in a quick time as you need to search through everything super-fast and avoid the distractions.

Studies have shown, people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration and attention.

Psychologists at The University of Glasgow found that staring at an optical illusion can improve eye sight by allowing you to see small print.

And according to  "These visual puzzles can give you a good mental workout that can, in turn, help you think more efficiently and solve problems more easily."

The photo left many eager to find the monkey but several struggled due to shear number of distractions and cleverly placed culprit.

In this particular piece, people with a high visual IQ should be able to spot it within seconds and leave themselves enough time to enjoy the rest of the image.
