Ex-boyfriend of Adam Johnson’s sister makes sick boasts as he is freed from prison early after being jailed for harassing paedo footballer’s victim

THE ex of Adam Johnson’s sister Faye has been freed from prison early – and has already boasted it was ‘Bout time’ he got out ‘that s*** hole’.

Steven Knox, 30, was jailed harassing the paedo footballer's teenage victim by posting photos of her online and urging others to share them.

Unemployed Know was sentenced to 16 weeks behind bars leaving both his son with Faye and Johnson’s daughter facing Christmas Day with their dads banged up.

But on December 30 Knox took to Facebook and boasted: “Bout time got out that s*** hole. Spend day with me lil man.”

After being released he rounded up a posse of friends and headed straight for the pub to celebrate his freedom.

And he told pals on Facebook of his time inside, saying: “No place for no One that rough as f*** lol.”

The day after shamed Sunderland star Johnson was convicted in March last year, Knox posted two photos of the girl on Facebook.

He wrote: “A don’t care if get locked up stand by my beliefs does this look like a girl who scared leave house who that young didn’t no what was happening who bragged and lied who Perseud and prolonged couldn’t give a slightest care in world (sic).”

His profile was “public” and he had more than 3,000 Facebook friends, the court heard.

The victim took a screen shot and sent it to the police.

Knox, from Sunderland, ignored a harassment warning by the police and continued to post about the girl on Facebook, who as the victim of a sex crime was entitled to life-long anonymity.

He admitted the single harassment charge  at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court.

District Judge Katrina Harrison said it was a “very troubling case”.

She said: “The bottom line seems to me that if people are allowed to get away with what he did in this particular case, it’s pointless having the rule of law.”

The judge said complainants could be put off coming forward if they were named afterwards.

Ms Johnson, who sat at the back of the court with her dad, wept as her ex-partner was led away.

Johnson’s trial at Bradford Crown Court heard that he had kissed and sexually touched the girl in his Range Rover in a secluded spot in County Durham.

Johnson was jailed for six years.
