Witchcraft-obsessed mum, 32, dies in prison after she was charged with stabbing stranger to death
A WITCHCRAFT-OBESESSED artist accused of stabbing a stranger to death has been found dead in jail.
Emma Borowy, 32, was charged with murdering 74-year-old Roger Leadbeater as he walked his beloved springer spaniel in a park.
She had been remanded into custody at HMP New Hall in Wakefield where her fitness to stand trial was being assessed.
It has now emerged schizophrenic Borowy died on December 12 in a suspected suicide.
The mum-of-one was reportedly under the care of mental health services at the time of the killing.
Her dad Karl Borowy, 64, told the she had repeatedly left mental health units where she was being treated.

He added: "It seems she can escape any time she wants. That’s what she told my wife. I do think these units should be more secure.
"She must have escaped a dozen times in the past two years."
Borowy's neighbours claimed she had struggled with schizophrenia and that police had been called to her home on numerous occasions.
One said she was interested in witchcraft and had placed homemade voodoo dolls and star symbols around her home in Bolton.

Another claimed Borowy was responsible for the slaughter of two goats that belonged to a local family.
Roger was knifed at random as he walked with Max in Sheffield in August.
Borowy's death has been passed to the coroner after South Yorkshire Police closed their investigation.
The Recorder of Sheffield, Judge Jeremy Richardson KC, described the case as "sad beyond compare".
