Paedophile Rolf Harris gets slap-up prison Christmas dinner with SEVEN options for main course
Disgraced star gets to choose between turkey, fish, chicken, pork, nut roast, squash and noodles
SHAMED Rolf Harris was given a slap-up Christmas dinner featuring an eye-watering seven different options.
The convicted sex attacker, 86, was offered the choice of goose, turkey or duck last year because of his diabetes.
But on Christmas Day this year the lag was offered a menu similar to that of a swanky upmarket restaurant.
Rolf, jailed for five years and nine months over sex attacks on girls as young as eight, was offered a nut roast, fish with lemon, roast turkey, roast pork, chicken, butternut squash or noodle grill.
The dishes, all served at HMP Stafford with a side of potatoes, sprouts and gravy, were followed by either Christmas pudding or fresh pineapple.
It's more like a hotel than a prison... he is sure to have a good Christmas despite being behind bars
A source said: “It’s more like a hotel than a prison.
“Everyone gets the same meal choices but there’s some restaurants where you don’t get three choices let alone seven.
“Food plays a big role in Rolf’s mood so he is sure to have had a good Christmas despite being behind bars.”
He faces a further trial in January, when he could become a legal first by being allowed to follow proceedings via video link from prison due to his health.
The former TV presenter is accused of attacking seven women and girls, one aged under 13, between 1971 and 2004.
Some of the offences were allegedly committed at BBC Television Centre in west London.
Harris has previously pleaded not guilty to seven counts of indecent assault and one alternative charge of sexual assault.
A trial lasting six weeks is due to start at London’s Southwark Crown Court early next month.
Last week The Sun revealed how the Two Little Boys singer was planning to host a Christmas carol singalong for fellow lags on Christmas Day.
The star also wanted to play a didgeridoo he made from toilet roll tubes but guards binned it.
Ex-artist Harris has also been sending self-drawn Christmas cards to pals.
