Tory MP David Davis saves homeless man from violent attack yards from Parliament before giving him bed for night
TORY MP and former SAS hardman David Davis saved a homeless man from a violent attack yards from Parliament.
And after driving the attackers away, Mr Davis then gave the victim a bed for the night.
Mr Davis, who qualified for the elite Special Forces’ reserves unit 50 years ago, was leaving a Chinese restaurant on Tuesday evening.
He said he saw two men “kicking seven bells” out of another man on the ground.
The victim, identified only as Gareth, had been set on by two drug-addled thugs in Westminster.
Mr Davis, 74, stepped in to drive the attackers away, standing his ground as they threatened to “fill him in”.

One witness said it was “a true act of heroism”.
Former Brexit Secretary Mr Davis said last night his only concern was “getting Gareth out of risk” and that the incident was over in less than two minutes.
He said: “About 35 years ago, somebody got kicked in the head and he died.
“Ever since, if I see something like that happening, I intervene.”
