A PRO-Palestinian protester with a sick "Final Solution" placard is being hunted by police- after 13 people were arrested when thousands took to the streets.

A snap shared online shows a placard using the phrase, which was how the Nazis described the Holocaust.

The Met said it was aware of the image and is "actively investigating" - but that no one has been arrested yet.

Radio 4 broadcaster Giles Fraser branded the placard "shameful Jew hatred openly on display".

Tempers flared this afternoon as demonstrators gathered on streets lined by hundreds of police officers in London, Newcastle and Manchester calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.

Cops said that 13 people have been arrested, mostly for offensive placards.

A Met spokesman said: "The area around Whitehall is largely clear following the conclusion of the pro-Palestinian protest.

"There have been 13 arrests so far, mostly for offensive placards but some for other offences including possession of drugs and obstruction.

"Officers working on our specialist 'Voyager' CCTV monitoring team scanning the crowds were able to identify a woman who was wanted for an offence that took place during a protest on 28 October.

"They guided officers in to make an arrest and the woman is now in custody."

Placards reading "child killers" were waved in officers' faces as clashes formed in the doorway of a shopping centre in Manchester.

Others let off smoke flares in Newcastle and ran through the streets waving the Palestinian flag.

The march in London started at Bank Junction at midday and finished in Parliament Square.

An exclusion zone prohibited any protesters from assembling around the Israeli Embassy on Saturday.

The Metropolitan Police revealed a man has been arrested on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

A spokesperson said: "As the march formed up, officers identified a man with a placard making comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany."

Previous weekends have seen thousands of protesters and counter-protesters converging on the capital.

Israel's final showdown with Hamas kicked off earlier this week as its tanks roared into southern Gaza's Khan Younis where it is believed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, the "mastermind" of the October 7 massacres, is hiding along with his "henchmen".

IDF official Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner told The Sun that Sinwar, known as "Gaza's Bin Laden", is at the very top of Israel's kill list.

And Israel's military chiefs confirmed it will not end its renewed offensive until he is dead.

Fierce fighting between Israel and Hamas, which erupted after the terror group brutally murdered 1,200 men, women, and children on October 7, has led to the deaths of more than 17,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza's Hamas-run health ministry.

The UK chose to abstain on a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza - a motion that was vetoed by the US.

Speaking at the UNSC meeting on Friday, UK ambassador to the UN Dame Barbara Woodward Britain backs "further and longer pauses" to get aid to Palestinians and to allow the release of Israeli hostages.

But she argued to the council that "we cannot vote in favour of a resolution which does not condemn the atrocities Hamas committed against innocent Israeli civilians" on October 7.

Meanwhile, extraordinary footage appeared to show the moment more than 100 Hamas terror suspects were made to sit in the middle of the street in Gaza after being rounded up by IDF troops.

A senior defence official also said the Israeli military needs at least another two months to complete the first stage of its war against Hamas.
