Four off-duty cops ‘caught brawling with another group of men’

FOUR off-duty cops have allegedly been caught brawling with another group of men.

The officers have been put on restricted duties while a probe is carried out by professional standards chiefs.

Exclusive video footage obtained by The Sun shows men waving a Romanian flag outside a central London restaurant.

In the clip, from last Friday, one man seems to shout “why you swing?” as another throws the flag on the ground.

Witnesses said the fight lasted a few minutes, with stunned diners watching on.

The group of Romanians are believed to have been celebrating their country’s independence day.

One local worker said: “It was shocking — the Romanians were celebrating and then this happened.

"It’s not clear what exactly caused the fight.”

Detective Inspector Nicholas Goldwater, leading the Met probe, said detectives were viewing a large amount of CCTV footage.

He added: “We would like to hear from anyone involved including a group we believe to be of Romanian heritage.”
