COPS have launched an urgent manhunt after a teenage boy was stabbed to death.
The horror attack took place by Sutton High Street station at 7pm this evening.
Police are now searching for a suspect who fled the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “Police and LAS were called to Sutton High Street at about 7.08pm on Tuesday December 5, following reports that a teenager had been stabbed.
"On arrival officers found a 17-year-old male suffering with stab wounds.
"He was treated at the scene but sadly died as a result of his injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin. No arrests have been made."
The stabbing comes just half an hour after a woman was shot in Hackney, east London.
A Scotland Yard statement said: "A murder investigation is under way after a woman died in a shooting in Hackney.
"Police were called at 18:28hrs on Tuesday December 5 to reports of a shooting in Vine Close, E5.

"Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Three people were found with gunshot wounds.
"Despite the efforts of the emergency services, a 42-year-old woman died at the scene.
"Her next of kin are in the process of being informed and will be supported by specialist family liaison officers.
"Two other people, a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, were taken to hospital where their conditions are being assessed."
