EASYJET passengers hoping to fly to Amsterdam this morning have been forced off their plane after ground crew accidentally pushed it on to grass, where it got stuck.
A picture posted to Twitter shows the plane half on the runway, half on frost covered grass.
The passenger who posted the picture tweeted: "Trying to take off at @Gatwick_Airport and the ground crew have pushed our @easyJet aeroplane onto the grass #delayed #oops."
Sophie Thirlwell said the ground crew were unable to move the plane off the grass, so passengers were forced back to the terminal.
