‘ANYTHING GOES’

Star Wars sex shows, grooms in nappies & £300 striptease with shocking twist… Benidorm’s outrageous stag and hen scene

Visitors regularly get so drunk they are given cards with the name of their hotel so they can get back safely

BENIDORM is in mourning this week after losing its legendary X-rated entertainer Sticky Vicky.

The former ballet dancer, 80, spent 30 years entertaining tourists with jaw-dropping shows that involved pulling items from her private parts, including ping pong balls and razor blades.

Benidorm went from a relatively sedate destination in the 1960s and 70s to a wild party town loved by stags and hens

Her act was one of many that helped transform Benidorm from a relatively sedate destination in the 1960s and 70s to a party town that attracts scores of stag and hen dos.

Brian Mountney, who runs a firm operating weekends for brides and grooms-to-be, says Vicky’s legacy will live on in Benidorm’s nightlife.

He tells The Sun: “Vicky was the most famous name in Benidorm and in the 80s she helped shape the resort into what it is today.

“Her name is iconic and most people visiting Benidorm for the first time just had to see her act.”

Here Brian spills the beans on some of the VERY surprising things the partygoers who dominate the main strips get up to.

Dirty tricks

Brian, who runs , says the main aim of a stag party is to humiliate the groom - and it’s no holds barred.

One stunt involves hiring a stripper to blindfold the ‘lucky’ recipient before swapping the glamorous woman for a drag artist.

Brian, 52, originally from Birmingham, says: “It’s called the drag stitch-up. A group of stags are taken into a private room where the guys are all cheering when a stripper comes in.

“She blindfolds the groom and then we tell all the guys to be quiet as the stripper is replaced by an old guy of about 60, dressed as a woman.

"He starts caressing the groom, who of course thinks it's still the female stripper.

“The drag act then strips off and removes the blindfold, much to the shock of the guy who is getting married.

“The stags really, really want to humiliate their groom on these weekends, taking them places where they have to pull their pants down and be whipped and the like.”

Some husbands-to-be don’t even have a clue they are going to Benidorm.

Brian says many are dragged from their beds to board a flight in the middle of the night, while one poor soul was taken to the airport in a wedding dress and put on a separate flight from his mates.

'Sex Wars'

Star Wars takes on a whole new meaning in Benidorm, where male strippers get out their lightsabers.

Drinkers barely bat an eyelid at the very saucy live show, named Sex Wars, performed at several of the resort’s bars.

It involves a couple dressed in Darth Vader and Princess Leia outfits on hoverboards.

Brian explains: “It’s becoming quite famous and it’s a real eye-opener because you’d never think the sex act involved could be performed on hoverboards.

“The strange thing is that anything goes here, so drinkers just stand and watch.

“It appeals to stag and hen parties for picture and video value.”

Brian says tourists get so drunk they are given cards with the name of their hotel so they can get back safely.

And its not unusual to see men dressed in mankinis or wearing nappies.

He adds: “Stag and hen nights often turn up in fancy dress drunk and spend the whole weekend in the same state.

“The drinking is crazy. People start at breakfast and drink all night and day because pubs and clubs are open until 7am.

“We often see notes on the local Facebook pages from tourists saying they’ve lost one of their stag or hen party.  They’ve usually fallen asleep in a ditch, at the bar or on the beach and can’t remember where they are staying.

“We give all our guests little cards with the name of their hotel and a 24 hour contact number just in case.

“But they tend to be a hardened lot and manage to get back somehow in the end.
