Police were yesterday seen combing the area for clues.

His grieving daughter Brooklyn paid tribute to him on Facebook, saying: "Worst news was waking up on Christmas morning to find my dad had been found dead outside.

"All I can say is heaven has gained another angel, I love you so much Dad, fly high."

A neighbour described Thomas as a ";lovely, quiet guy".
