TRUMP Tower was evacuated today following the discovery of a suspicious package.
The NYPD and FDNY rushed to Trump Tower following reports of a suspicious package in the atrium shortly before 4:30pm local time, the NY Post reported.
Sources said CCTV showed a boy with his family leave his yellow backpack in the atrium.
Police said a sniffer dog was brought in indicated the package may contain an explosive.
The all-clear was given within minutes after police investigated the package.
Reports suggested the package was a backpack containing a toy.
An NYPD spokesman said: "All clear at Trump Tower following the earlier suspicious package in the lobby."
The 58-story skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan is currently used as the headquarters for the Trump Organization.
It is also the primary residence of Donald Trump, and has been the primary site of his presidential transition efforts.
Trump is currently at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
