Nigel Farage’s bizarre ‘young Margaret Thatcher’ claim unearthed – I’m A Celeb star said Iron Lady ‘would topple him’
AN unearthed interview has revealed a bizarre claim Nigel Farage made about a "young Margaret Thatcher".
The I'm A Celeb star, now 59, even said the Iron Lady would "topple him" in the 10-year-old chat.
The former Brexit Party chief, who is currently in the jungle, claimed the former Prime Minister would have joined Ukip had it been an option.
Farage made the massive claim - that Thatcher would have picked his then-party over the Tories - in an interview in 2013.
He was speaking at Westminister - and also claimed she would have taken his spot at the top.
The reported Farage said: “I can’t believe that a young Margaret Thatcher leaving Oxford today would join the Conservative Party led by David Cameron.

“I think she would get involved in Ukip, and no doubt topple me within 12 months or so.”
It comes after the 59-year-old made bombshell claims about former PM Boris Johnson on national TV this week.
He opened up about the country's former leader after being asked what Johnson was "really like".
Farage was quick to share his thoughts - saying Johnson is "one of the most disorganised" people he'd ever met.

The shocking revelation came about at the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here camp.
This Morning host Josie Gibson asked Farage what Johnson was like, saying: “What’s he like on a personal level?”
EastEnders star Danielle Harold added: “Forget politics, as a guy.”
Farage replied: “Entertaining… in small doses. [He’s] surprisingly introverted.
"You see this big act, fluffing the hair… surprising.”
Gibson then asked: “Is he quite a fumbler in real life, or is that just on the stage?”
Farage the slammed: “I think he’s one of the most disorganised human beings that possibly ever lived.
"The whole thing’s bloody chaos. Shambles.”
The politicians have clashed in the past, multiple times.
Farage was said to have hammered out a deal that is reported to be worth up to £1million.
