Moment Andrew Tate defends slamming Amanda Holden’s bikini pic as he tells Piers Morgan ‘I’m reminding her of her worth’
SHAMELESS Andrew Tate defended criticising Amanda Holden's bikini picture in an explosive clash with Piers Morgan - and insisted he was "reminding her of her worth".
The disgraced influencer - who is facing trial for sex trafficking - was taken to task after he claimed telly favourite Amanda, 52, is too old to pose in swimwear.
That is one of many topics discussed in the explosive interview, as Piers Morgan also repeatedly challenged Tate on his views on women, politics and the recent charges against him.
The first part of the Piers Morgan Uncensored interview with the disgraced influencer aired last night on Talk TV.
A preview clip shows Piers asking Tate why is a 52-year-old woman showing off her body so different from a 36-year-old man posing without his top on.
"You Tweeted a picture of Amanda Holden, very good friend of mine," Piers began.

"It's a very harmless picture. She is in a bikini on holiday under a rain shower, looking extraordinarily beautiful."
"In a sexual pose," Tate interrupts.
When called out by Piers for his misogynistic comment, the former kick-boxer replied: "You can call me crazy, you can call me misogynistic, but I think once you reach the ripe age of 50, any woman should not be interested in thirst trapping on Instagram.
"I think she has bigger responsibilities, I am sure she is a very intelligent lady and she has done amazing things.
Tate said Amanda "is obviously very capable" and could do more interesting things than "standing around trying to thirst trap on Instagram like she is 18".
Shouting, the 36-year-old added: "I think she is above it. I wasn't insulting her, I was reminding her that she is actually such a fantastic person, she has done such amazing things in her life and she is so achieved, that she is actually above thirst trapping.
"I was reminding her of her worth, because as a feminist - we are all feminists here, right, we all believe in women empowerment - I am reminding her of her worth."
Piers counter-argued the influencer's apparent double standard as Tate often shares snaps "showing off his ripped body".
He replied: "I think me boxing with no shirt on is different than a 50-year-old woman posting..."
Piers interrupted, challenging the argument: "You don't just box, I have seen you doing ones where you wander around all moody with your cigar and you are topless and stuff, so fine for you?"
"Are you a fan Piers?" Tate asks.
It comes after Piers insisted he "held Andrew Tate's feet to the fire" as he teased his upcoming bombshell interview with the Tate brothers.
When asked how he balanced holding his interviewee to account without platforming them, Piers Morgan said: "Should you platform him [Tate]?
"I think with these kind of characters, the more light you shine on, the better actually - the more you hold their feet to the fire a bit.
"I told them 'I'm not here to be judge and jury on the very serious offences you've been charged with.
"That's gonna be for a court of law - as it should be."
"I push him quite hard on stuff where he tries to say 'I've been sarcastic there', well do you mean it or not?"
Piers added he doesn't know if Tate is "as bad as these charges suggest he is" or if it is all part of some act.
Former kickboxer Tate and his brother Tristan were released from the hellhole jail they had been held in for three months on March 31 on house arrest.
