DELTA passengers have disputed claims that YouTube prankster Adam Saleh was kicked off because he was speaking Arabic to his mum on the phone before takeoff.

YouTuber Adam Saleh, who has 1.6 million followers on the video site shared a Twitter video of the moment he was escorted off the flight with a pal on Wednesday morning.

Delta confirmed that Saleh had been removed from the flight after 20 passengers complained.

He was questioned by police and later caught a flight with a different airline after creating a social media meltdown in which he urged followed to "#BoycottDelta".

There have been conflicting eye-witness accounts, with one passenger telling the .

But two others have come forward to allege Saleh was removed from the flight because he was creating a disturbance.

Roderick J. Edens, who claimed his boyfriend was sitting in the seat directly in front of Saleh and his friend Slim Albaher wrote on Facebook: "The entire thing was planned.

"He wasn't on the phone with his mom speaking Arabic,' he added, posting a picture of his boyfriend's boarding pass.

"He and his friends were shouting in Arabic with their fists balled up in the air.

"They were removed from the plane for being loud and disruptive.... then started filming claiming they were victims.

"These guys aren't victims....they are social media wh***s."

Another person claiming to be a passenger on the flight took to Reddit to describe the incident.

He said: "The YouTube guy was trying to get his friend to shout something in Arabic which he did a total of four times.

"He shouted it across the plane and the first two times I thought he was shouting maybe a friend or something.

"A couple of passengers after the second time said they were making themselves and their young children uncomfortable and could they shut up.

"They told her to shut up and then he shouted it again and her husband started saying it to them.

"They were filming people's reactions on their phones, I assume for some comedy YouTube video but they were made to delete it."

Saleh has since denied the incident was a stunt, writing on Twitter: "The only thing I can say is, I would never film a phone video".

The notorious prankster has not yet presented any evidence to confirm his "racism" claims.

In an interview with the BBC Asian Network, he said: "We got on our flight, we sat down. Every time I take off on a flight, I always call my mum.

"And my mum, she only speaks Arabic - she’s 66-years-old and she only speaks Arabic.

"So I spoke to her on the phone for a couple of minutes - I hang up then I start speaking to my friend.

"Me and my friend, we only speak two languages - English and Arabic.

"I start speaking to him in Arabic then one lady got up and she was like ‘what are they saying? I feel so uncomfortable’."

"Then I was like ‘I’m just speaking my language’.

"And then this woman next to me who was from Pakistan and spoke Urdu, she was like ‘that’s so stereotypical’.

"And then after that another guy came up - he was like ‘you guys need to get off the plane’.”

Saleh was previously caught out for faking a video which appeared to  and has posted a number of videos involving pranks on planes (which you can see in the image below).

Saleh's latest footage has now been retweeted more than 20,000 times, with viewers expressing their shock at the star's alleged treatment.

After being removed from the flight, Saleh was grounded in the airport and interviewed by police.

He was not charged with any crime and Delta Airlines rebooked him on another flight to New York.

In the video, the online joker yelled: "I cannot believe my eyes.

"I spoke a word and you said you feel uncomfortable. Why are you guys doing that?

"Just because I spoke a different language."

He claimed the complaints came from "six white people against bearded men";.

He added: "We spoke a different language on the plane and now we're getting kicked out. This is 2016.

"Delta Airlines are kicking us out because we spoke a different language.

"You guys are racist."

After investigating the incident Delta Airlines said: ";Upon landing the crew was debriefed and multiple passenger statements collected.

"Based on the information collected to date, it appears the customers who were removed sought to disrupt the cabin with provocative behaviour, including shouting.

"This type of conduct is not welcome on any Delta flight. While one, according to media reports, is a known prankster who was video recorded and encouraged by his travelling companion, what is paramount to Delta is the safety and comfort of our passengers and employees.

"It is clear these individuals sought to violate that priority."

The airline had previously said it takes all allegations of discrimination seriously.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at approximately 11:00hrs on Wednesday, 21 December after two passengers were removed from a plane by crew at Heathrow Airport.

"Officers attended and the passengers were escorted to the terminal where they were assisted with making alternative travel arrangements.

"They were not arrested and no offences were disclosed."

The vlogger recently claimed to have completed one of the most dangerous airline pranks in history after smuggling himself into the hold of a plane in a suitcase.
He claimed to have checked onto a TigerAir flight from Melbourne to Sydney undetected, although the airline disputed the claims.

Prankster Saleh filmed the entire trip from inside a suitcase and published the video online this week, racking up more than 150,000 views in under 24 hours.

However, the airline wrote a scathing open letter denying his claims which said: "There are a few inconsistencies in your production that don't line up with reality.

"It gets pretty cold at 36,000 feet without any heating. Had you been in the baggage hold, by the time you arrived in Sydney you would have been a popsicle."

TigerAir also said it had "footage of you boarding the aircraft (using your legs)".
