HOUSE OF SIN

Sanctioned Russian warmonger & Putin pal STILL has bloodsoaked hands on plush £13m Spain villa…with a Ukrainian gardener

A RUSSIAN warmonger has held onto a £13million Spanish mansion despite being under tough international sanctions, The Sun can reveal.

Putin pal Alexey Chepa is still in control of the huge beachfront estate in a luxury resort town close to Marbella - which is bizarrely looked after by a Ukrainian gardener.

The oligarch's sprawling mansion is situated in the exclusive enclave of Guadalmina Baja, which is filled with other mega villas costing upwards of £17million.

Spread across 10,725sqm, Chepa’s family estate features a sports area with a full-size tennis court and a huge swimming pool.

There are several outhouses, including one for security alone, while the main villa consists of a living room, dining room, library, five bedrooms, games room and more.

The property is also just a couple of hundred metres from the home of former Spanish prime minister, Jose Aznar.

Chepa is a long-standing MP in the Russian State Duma and a staunch supporter of the Russian tyrant - making him the target of a wave of sanctions from across the EU, UK, US, Canada, and Australia.

The Kremlin crony has been a parliamentary representative of the impoverished regions of Vlogoda, Novgorod, Kostroma, Tver and Smolensk for some 12 years.

However, despite supposedly having his foreign assets frozen, the Anti-Corruption Foundation has exposed that the Marbella villa is still under his control after being transferred to his son.

And amazingly, the huge pool and gardens are being kept in tip-top condition by a gardening firm by Ukrainian Yuriy Korovchenko, who hails from Cherkasy, near Kyiv.

Cherkasy has been a massive target for Russian missiles since the war began, with a huge strike causing massive damage just weeks ago.

The news comes as Chepa has just been revealed to still be in possession of Vertigo Business Tower in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The mammoth 19-storey glass building worth over £8million has been disguised through a number of offshore companies belonging to Chepa, reports.

Like the sanctioned Kremlin mouthpiece's Marbella villa, the tower is now owned by his 22-year-old son, Daniil Chepa, via an investment firm.

Western governments have been called on to toughen the sanctions to include family members of Putin's closest allies, as they are often transferred assets and homes to avoid the restrictions.

The gardener and Spain’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs have been reached for comment.
