iPhone 8 rumoured to feature curved screen made by Apple’s arch-enemy Samsung

THE iPhone 8 is expected to feature a stunning curved display built by Apple's arch-enemy Samsung, it has been claimed.

Whispers emanating from the darkest depths of the iRumour mill suggest the top secret smartphone will be fitted with a beautiful bendy display made from plastic, rather than glass.

This screen is expected to be made from organic light emitted diodes (OLED), which means it will offer users improved picture quality at the same time as being thinner and lighter than traditional screens. 

The unconfirmed rumour was published in the Korea Herald and comes from sources within Apple's Far East supply chain.

The newspaper also suggested the curved screen will feature sensors  that "enable the phone to respond when users touch any side of the device", offering new ways to interact with it.

If true, it could prove that previous Apple rumours are not true, particularly tittle-tattle which suggested 0nly more expensive models of iPhone 8 would feature the OLED screen.
