A MAN dubbed 'Britain's best boss' is treating his staff to a holiday in SPAIN as a massive "thank you" for their hard work.
Employees at The Bridge, in Llangennech, Wales, were thrilled when owner Salvo Giannini handed them an all-expenses paid break to sunny Palma, Mallorca.
The generous boss surprised his team, who operate the much-loved family-run establishment, after a hectic summer season.
Salvo told : "We as owners are pretty demanding and our staff have been able to hit the mark every day.
"And we are not talking about the financial targets here, we are talking about customer satisfaction.
"We have had a very busy summer and we are heading to a more busy festive season. It is important to take a break."

The Bridge will be temporarily pull down the shutter while staff are living it up on the Spanish island, and some renovations are carried out on the restaurant.
"We thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to reward our hard-working staff who have had a very busy and hectic summer," Salvo added.
"So all their flight tickets, stay and meals are covered in this."
Praising his crew, he acknowledged the industry is a "tough game" and wants to "give the staff what they deserve".

Salvo explained: "It is a give and take business, to be honest. I have seen a lot of owners cribbing about not getting good staff.
"We feel lucky in that area.
"I feel like this was a very well deserved vacation for everyone."
