Venomous snake is found wrapped around a Christmas tree in terrifying festive surprise

A VENOMOUS snake stretching more than one metre has been found wrapped around a Christmas tree.
The tiger snake was curled between the tinsel and baubles of the brightly decorated tree, sitting calmly among the green branches.
The new Christmas decoration was found by a shocked woman in Frankston, in Victoria Australia.
She immediately called , who took just 20 minutes to bag the slithering surprise.
Mr Goldsmith said: "She didn't panic, she just took a photo and sent it to the snake catcher, me, and 20 minutes later I had the little bugger in a bag."

The experienced catcher from Snake Catcher Victoria said he found snakes in extremely unusual places in his line of work.
He told : "I've found snakes in toilets, I've found snakes in Uggs."
Tiger snakes are found in southern regions of Australia and are highly dangerous.
Their venomous bite can cause numbness, sweating as well as breathing difficulties and paralysis.
