Prince Harry treated girlfriend Meghan Markle to best of British cuisine during couple’s romantic Christmas break in London

PRINCE Harry has been wining and dining girlfriend Meghan Markle at top London eateries.

The royal took his foodie love to a posh gastropub on the weekend.

And earlier in the week she dined at hip Japanese restaurant Kurobuta on the King’s Road.

In Saturday they were spotted enjoying a discreet lunch at the Sands End pub, owned by Harry’s “second brother” Mark Dyer.

A pal said: “Mark is one of Harry’s closest friends and like another brother to him.

Their romantic mini-break in London – where the Sun revealed pictures of their first public theatre date on Wednesday night – comes as Meghan’s family released new childhood pics.

Feeding the ducks with popcorn in a Mickey Mouse t-shirt at LA’s Lake Balboa Park she looks less happy to be snapped.

She looks glum with her young nephew Thomas as a toddler and baby, but according to former sister-in-law Tracy Dooley, 51, “she was always in good spirits and wasn’t a moody teenager”.

Ms Dooley from Medford, Oregon, said: “Meghan loved playing with the kids. She will always have a special place in our hearts.

“She will always be our princess.”

Recalling his aunt, Thomas Markle Jnr, 25, said: “She was always really caring about other people and affectionate. She grew up with really strong roots.
