A MAN has been charged with murder after a 24-year-old was brutally shot in the head while leaving TV star Alesha Dixon's favourite restaurant.
Omar Hutson, 29, is accused of fatally shooting Salim Coulter in the head outside Jerky's, in Walham Grove, off North End Road, Fulham.
Hutson was also charged with the attempted murder of a 25-year-old man in Walham Grove, SW6, on December 5 and possession of a firearm.
He will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court later today after being arrested in Wandsworth, south London yesterday.
A 27-year-old woman who was also arrested at the time has been released on bail until January 2017 pending further enquiries.
The restaurant Salim was leaving when he was shot is a favourite of TV star Alesha Dixon.
Eyewitnesses said the victim was shot as he climbed into the passenger door of a grey Renault.
The gunman then fled the scene, with the victim lying half in the car and half on the pavement.

Local man Jorge Pardo said: "I heard a noise like a firecracker and then saw two guys running in different directions.
"I heard shouting and we went downstairs and there were people in the road calling the police.
"A moment later a black fancy car pulled up and one of the guys that I saw running away jumped out and ran over to the body.
"He desperately held the body and he was shouting 'he's gone, he's gone'.

The manager of Jerky's told the after the shooting: "Two men came into the shop.
"They ordered, sat down, ate and enjoyed their meal before the eventually left. I think it was their first time in here, I’ve never seen them before but everything was calm and cool.
"No-one was fighting, that’s why we’re all so shocked.
"They’d just left and crossed the road when I heard a loud bang. We didn’t see what happened.
"We just saw a car on the other side of the road. We didn’t go over as we didn’t want to get involved."
