Horrific bodycam video shows snarling and growling pit bull violently savaging its owner in a blood-spattered room
Growling can be clearly heard as the cops enter the blood-covered room
HARROWING bodycam video shows the moment police burst into a bedroom to help rescue a man being mauled by a vicious dog.
The cops were called after the owner was reportedly bitten by the pit bull.
When officers arrived they faced an extraordinarily difficult situation at the home in Shelby, Ohio, USA.
They can be heard asking a woman: "Where's the dog?"
Breathlessly, she whispers: "He's in the bathroom attacking my boyfriend.
“Hurry, he's in the bathroom.
“I've never seen the dog act like that."
But as officers John Reed and Cody Baker enter the house, they hear a man yelling "I need help".
As they enter the bedroom, growling can be heard on the officer's bodycam.
Hideous blood spatters are on the bed, up the wall and on the floor.
In the corner the dog's owner writhing in agony with the dog’s fangs sunk deep into his flesh.
Local media name the man as Dickie Carver Jr. It turned out he had been bitten by his beloved Pit Bull.
The police officers were forced to use their Taser on the dog, which yelps and drops to the floor.
At this point Dickie is able to free himself, rolls over the bed and out the door of the bedroom.
But the paralysing effect of the Taser appears to wear off as the psycho pooch gets back to its feet.
A red gun laser is then trained on the pet’s head.
Shots are heard and the dog drops dead.
