Beautician revealed as Russian ‘spy’ refused to discuss what she did for work when asked, claim neighbours
AN alleged Russian spy would not discuss the subject of work when asked, neighbours claim.
Award-winning beautician Vanya Gaberova, 29, is also said to have sank beers during backyard swimsuit sunbathing sessions.
Vanya is one of five Bulgarians charged with conspiracy to commit espionage yesterday after they were nicked in February following a joint Met Police and MI5 probe.
A neighbour at flats in Acton, West London, said: “She never talked about what she did for work.
“Most of the time she was quiet.”
The neighbour added: “She would go out in the garden and wear something like you would wear at the beach.

“Then she would have one or two beers, and the next time one or two beers also.
“She really enjoyed sunbathing”
Gaberova, an eyelash extension prize-winner, owned the Pretty Woman store in Acton.
She is due to appear before Westminster magistrates on Tuesday with couple Bizer Dzhambazov, 41, and Katrin Ivanova, 31, of Harrow, North West London, Ivan Stoyanov, 31, of Greenford, West London. and Orlin Roussev, 45, of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
