Kim Jong-un's obsession with gorgeous young female traffic wardens could date back to a mysterious incident three years ago in which one was credited with saving his life.

In 2013, a North Korean traffic officer was awarded the Hero of the Republic award - sparking speculation she may have saved the despot's life.
