IT'S hardly the most glamorous of jobs - but North Korea boasts an army of stunning female traffic cops believed to be personally chosen by bonkers despot Kim Jong-un.
Stunning traffic police in the capital Pyongyang have been turning heads and gathering a cult following of fans all over the world.
The suited-and-booted babes have their very own fansite featuring pictures, videos and even poems of unrequited love honouring the army of glam wardens.
The site also features Pyongyang Traffic Girl of the Month and produces calendars for their legion of fans to purchase.
The job is held in high esteem in North Korea, with only the tallest and most glamorous women chosen to hold the prestigious position.
The girls are one of the city's most popular sights, decked out in Army-style fur hats and blue double-breasted jackets with stylish fur collars and cuffs to keep them warm.
According to the PyongyangTrafficGirls website, they have different uniforms for different times of the year.
The site also claims there are around 50 posts in the city, each assigned six traffic controllers.
It says girls must be unmarried, attractive, healthy, at least 5' 4" tall and aged between 16 and 26.
They must also have graduated from high school.
