‘All you can eat’ restaurant MEASURED my 10-year-old son’s height and then charged him full price
A DAD is furious after an 'all you can eat' Chinese restaurant measured his 10-year-old son - and then charged him full price.
Craig Cantrill took his son and a friend of the same age to the popular Wong Ting buffet restaurant in the Sheffield.
But his evening was "ruined" when a waitress measured the two boys - before charging Craig's son full price while giving his friend the kids' discount.
The fuming dad told : "We sat down for the meal and a lady came over and took them away - I thought it was for a lollipop or something.
"They had a measuring stick and measured their height. They came over and said they would be charging full price for my son.
"It was on my mind all the time and it totally ruined my evening."

Craig said the other youngster was charged the child's rate, leaving a "bitter taste".
He said the Cantonese restaurant's menus did say that the rates were height-dependent - but claimed that it did not give the height limits.
Restaurant boss Lance Ping slammed Craig as "ignorant" - and that moaning was a "waste of your time and our time".
He added that the restaurant's menu says clearly that the height limit for the kids' discount is 1.4m.
