Authorities investigating the model's death on September 14 are considering several theories including suicide.

Sabine is said to have left a note for her wife Rosa Stanesco Nicolau, who is currently behind bars for her alleged role in the scam.

The actress was the daughter of one of Brazil's biggest art collectors, the late Jean Boghici.

He was born in Romania in 1928 and moved to Brazil in 1948 with Jewish friends.

Sabine and her wife were arrested last August for allegedly scamming Sabine's mum Genevieve out of £120million in cash, artworks and jewellery.

Investigators said Sabine plotted against her mother in 2020 and allegedly paid for a woman to pose as a psychic.

The woman approached Geneviève on the street to warn her of her daughter’s imminent death.

According to investigators, she then took her to two other women posing as a fortune teller and a priestess who suggested she pay for “spiritual work” to save her daughter.

The plan seemed to work as Geneviève began making fortnightly transfers to the women, fearing for Sabine's life.

The mum began to realise she was being conned in February and stopped making the transfers.

The alleged scam included £2.2million in payments and jewellery worth nearly £1million.

Police also accused Sabine of stealing 16 paintings worth £118million from her late dad’s collection - including works by Tarsila do Amaral and Emiliano Di Cavalcanti.

Sabine was released on bail in March.

Both Sabine and her wife were due to attend a court hearing today.
