VLAD'S BUNGLE

Humiliating footage shows panicking Russian troops blowing up their OWN men as Putin loses 500 soldiers in a day

THIS is the horrifying moment Russian troops were seen firing on their own troops as their soldiers tried to surrender as Ukraine reclaims key territory around the town of Bakhmut.

The village of Andriivka has seen fierce fighting in recent days as the Ukrainian counteroffensive is making major progress.

A video shared on Telegram showed Ukrainian troops under fire as they surrounded Russian positions.

In the mist of the chaos, three Russian soldiers are seen making their way over the ruins of the village and lying down to surrender.

As the Ukrainians move to approach and disarm the soldiers, suddenly a massive explosion struck where the Russian soldiers had laid down.

One of Putin's soldiers died in the explosion, and the other two were taken prisoner by Ukrainian troops.

The 3rd Separate Assault Infantry Brigade said: "A fantastic story that happened during the storming of Andriivka.

"Assault group 2 of the mechanised battalion takes another group of prisoners.

"At the same time the enemy, realising that the village is lost and his soldiers are surrendering en masse, orders to open ‘fire on their own.’

"Luck plays a role in war. The most important shots of the operation are ahead.”

The now destroyed village of Andriivka was liberated, Ukraine announced, after the "lightning operation" on the ground which liquidated "the whole of Russia's 72nd infantry brigade."

The humiliating moment for Putin was shared as it was revealed Russia lost 500 soldiers in just one day, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian counteroffensive is continuing as Putin becomes more desperate for ammo - and more Russian soldiers are surrendering as victory seems impossible.

Earlier this year, a Russian soldier near Bakhmut was filmed pleading for his life to a Ukrainian drone before being fired upon by his own comrades.

The footage is believed to have been filmed close to the besieged Ukrainian city of Bakhmut, which has seen some of the fiercest fighting in recent months.

Last year, Russian soldiers cornered during Ukrainian's lightning-paced counteroffensive were been filmed surrendering with a white flag flying from their tank.

Incredible footage shows the vehicle heading to Ukrainian lines, as thousands are said to be throwing down their weapons in the face of Kyiv’s ongoing fight back.

As his soldiers continue to face humiliation, it’s feared Putin may turn the war in Ukraine nuclear by detonating a bomb on the border in a message to the West.
