A TEACHER was attacked by three men wearing balaclavas and brandishing hammers and crowbars outside his school, The Sun can reveal.
Three men have been arrested and are currently being held in custody over the violent attack on a 54-year-old man outside a school in Bradford, West Yorkshire, yesterday.
The victim of yesterday's attack was taken to hospital following the incident, which occurred outside the Eternal Light School in the Little Horton area of the city.
A source told The Sun Online: "The maths teacher was viciously attacked outside his school by three men wearing balaclavas using hammers and crowbars to his head in the morning.
"He is a respected man in the community and everyone is shocked."
West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to Christopher Street, Bradford at 8.01am on Wednesday September 13 to reports of a serious assault.

"A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"Three males were arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in police custody.
"A scene was put in place along Christopher Street and Little Horton Lane.
"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID and Local Neighbourhood Patrols have been stepped up in the area.
