A MOTHER-of-the-bride was left bleeding and unconscious on a nightclub floor after a vicious reveller smashed a glass bottle over her head during her daughter’s hen do.
Charlotte Kirby, 25, hurled the bottle towards Lisa Robinson’s head just two weeks before her daughter Rachel Catildi’s big day.
Kirby had become angry after being told she could not enter the private area of a club, booked out for Rachel’s special night on October 2, a court has heard.
The attacker ran away as Lisa, 47, collapsed on the floor of Popworld in Preston, Lancashire, but was chased down by two of Rachel’s devoted hens.
Kirby pleaded guilty to wounding and was given a 14-month sentence suspended for two years, at Preston Crown Court yesterday.

Mother-of-one Kirby - who has previously been cautioned for throwing a glass at an ex-partner - sat crying in the dock as Judge Robert Altham told her she had been "looking for trouble" and had "persistently wanted to get into the private party".
While Judge Altham conceded Kirby had not intended to hit Lisa, he said it was "clear that you were going to hit someone with the size of the bottle thrown".
He also told Kirby she was "incapable" of controlling her temper "especially when drinking" and that she had ruined a "special" night out for Lisa and her daughters.
While Kirby can now return home, Lisa, from Preston, is still suffering from the effects of the attack.
Speaking after the sentence, Lisa - who is also mum to Natasha, 24 and 11-year-old Kenny – said she was "disappointed" that her attacker wasn't sent to prison.
Lisa said: "She's done this before - this wasn't a one off. She could have killed somebody - she could have killed me and taken me away from my family.
"I am disappointed that she wasn't sent down."
Describing the incident Lisa said: "I was in terrible, terrible pain when I woke up. It was pain like I've never felt before.
"It affected the outfit I had prepared for the wedding - I couldn't wear my fascinator because the band sat on the wound.
"I've now got problems with my vision, I still can't see properly. I've been back to the doctors with a tingling feeling in my head on a couple of occasions.
"They can't say how long that's going to last."
Both Lisa and bride Rachel, 26, have been left with a feeling of resentment that the hen do was ruined.
Lisa said: ";Before it happened we had a meal and had driven around in a limousine and we do hang on to those early bits of the night that were so lovely.
"But for this girl to ruin such a wonderful evening after no confrontation and because she felt some kind of drunken anger is unforgivable."
Lisa added: "We're very positive as a family and we had a wonderful wedding - we didn't let what happened affect that fabulous day.”
Kirby must complete 120 hours of unpaid work, 20 days in rehabilitation for anger management and has a 20 week curfew between the hours of 10pm - 6am.
