Sir Alex Ferguson is in business partnership with husband of Captain Tom’s controversial daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore
SIR Alex Ferguson is in business with the husband of Captain Tom Moore's daughter, who is mired in controversy for building an ‘illegal spa’ and taking a £70k salary from his charity as donations plummeted, The Sun can reveal.
Hannah Ingram-Moore’s spouse Colin, a management consultant and property developer, is involved in dozens of companies, including one with the former Man Utd boss.
They are both members of Granite Investors Spe II LLP, along with Fergie’s son Jason, according to the latest Companies House data.
All three were appointed as members on 10 December 2013 with the company’s offices being based in Fergie's home city of Aberdeen.
As it is a limited liability partnership, the nature of the business isn’t declared on the Companies House website.
There are 26 active members of the business with some of them being involved in the legal or property professions.

Sir Alex’s firm Damaja 1991 is also listed as a member. This business is controlled by Sir Alex's personal company ACF Sports Promotions Ltd, which is currently worth almost £23 million, according to its latest books. Damaja 1991’s latest accounts show that it’s £1,193,697 in profit.
Granite Investors Spe II LLP’s accounts filed in December 2022 revealed the firm has £801,507 in investments.
The company address in Aberdeen is also the address for 186 other businesses.
While it’s not known what the business actually does, Fergie’s sons Darren and Jason are also directors of another firm with a similar name, Granite Investors (Simmons Fund) LLP, which has the same office address.

The revelation comes a day after it emerged Covid hero Captain Tom Moore’s charity had stopped raising cash – but continued to pay his daughter Hannah a hefty salary.
Newly-filed accounts reveal the foundation – set up after veteran Captain Tom, 100, raised millions for NHS Charities Together – paid Hannah Ingram- Moore £63,750 plus £7,602 in expenses.
SPA CONTROVERSY
The accounts – filed at Companies House today – come after The Sun told in July how Hannah and Colin had built the spa and pool complex at the £1.2 million Bedfordshire home where Capt Tom completed laps of the garden for charity during lockdown.
They told planners they wanted an office for the charity set up in Capt Tom’s name – then built a 50ft by 20ft pool house with changing rooms, toilets and showers.
They used the charity’s name in the design and heritage statement then applied for retrospective planning permission for the spa.
Fergie meanwhile has made a string of high profile investments alongside his footballing career and is believed to net the equivalent of £235,000 a week from investments, book deals and appearances - even 10 years after he retired from football management.
TAX DODGE
In 2021 he was one of 700 investors caught up in a scheme to buy the rights to Disney movies as part of a tax-saving scheme - which was later deemed a tax dodge by HMRC.
He and other football managers such as Sven-Göran Eriksson and Glen Hoddle, who invested in a Hollywood partnership called Eclipse 35, faced multi-million pound tax bills as a result of the failed scheme.
Fergie also helped launch a "tax efficient" syndicate for super wealthy individuals who wanted to invest in property in July 2003 called Active Asset Investment Management (AAIM).
He has also invested in wine, hedge funds and financial companies.
There were not any known links between Fergie and the Ingram-Moore's until now - although the ex United boss did send a message of support to Captain Tom in 2020, according to a Tweet from the charity's account.
COVID HERO
Capt Tom lifted the nation’s spirits during Covid by walking in his Bedfordshire garden in the run-up to his 100th birthday. He raised almost £39million for the NHS.
The nation mourned when he died in February 2021.
Last month, Hannah took a potshot at critics – posting a social media snap of her pets on a sofa with the caption: “Dogs don’t judge.”
In a statement released on social media on Thursday, the charity said: "Since April During Hannah's tenure as Interim Chief Executive Officer she reported directly to the Chair, Stephen Jones, she did not make any payments from the Charity's bank account.
"Since April 2022, Hannah Ingram-Moore has had no involvement with the Foundation in any capacity. She is not a trustee.
"Colin Ingram-Moore is a family trustee and does not and has never had any access to the Charity's bank account.
"No charity money was used in the construction of the new building in the grounds of the family home."

Both Sir Alex and Man United, where Sir Alex is a director, declined to comment when approached by The Sun.
Hannah Ingham Moore claimed in a statement to The Sun that Sir Alex and her husband were only "minority shareholders" but that the LLP had been sold in March 2022 and they were no longer connected to the business. However Companies House records lists the pair as "active" and does not show any records of a sale.
